Maintaining and adding to your Web site or application
When the project is complete, that's the beginning of the life cycle

After an application is developed, it becomes an essential part of your business. After a limited Operational Verification (OV) period, typically 1 - 2 months, our continued level of participation is entirely up to you. We can maintain and enhance the system as needed or give you the tools and documentation necessary to do it yourself.

Maintenance
It is vital that the software system be efficiently maintained and problems quickly resolved. The applications must remain functional and ready to address new opportunities and business needs. CEC provides professional support and maintenance for our customers. The cost-effectiveness of software support and maintenance is important during its entire life cycle.

Adding new features
As the new web application or site is used, over time there may be maintenance required and lessons to be learned from use.
After all, when a new project is completed, that isn't the end, that is the beginning of the products lifetime.

After having the public use the site for awhile, you may see the need for new features. Providing you with additional functionality is key to long product life. Quick response to your needs and a smooth functioning software eliminates the expense of down-times and customer headaches.

You can submit either an RFP or since you are an existing client, a Change Request, either of which may be quoted. A change request is a document containing a call for an adjustment of a system; it is of great importance in the change management process.

Cutting over new versions
For new features, the new feature set is again uploaded to the staging server, re-tested, and eventually cut-over to the live, production application site.
