Our project managers
developers draw on many software engineering tools and
practices.
While developing a web application or web site we follow
several steps. Project management is an essential ingredient
for web success and we employ workflow methods with version
control, Gantt charts, and project management processes.
We will develop a unique project timeline for you, and
determine responsibilities, during project team meetings.
6 weeks for a simpler or static site
12 weeks for a data driven site
More time if the project is enterprise level and depends on
complexity
Solution Execution:
3-4 user interface design studies (usually the home page)
Sitemap (& possibly workflow diagram)
Use cases (for apps)
Storyboards (if any)
Approval of each of the above. We give you creative control.
The creative spec is an extension of the creative brief,
fleshing out the site structure, navigation, and mock-ups
(story boards) of the home and secondary pages. We can help you choose the
winning mock-up using a "criteria matrix" Upon approval of the
Web site design & navigational map we begin implementation.

Production management:
Module and code base development

Quality assurance
Client (all stakeholders) approval

Training
As the project goes into full production, the markup and
layout spec describes how the mock-up pages are to be
implemented in HTML, including dimensions, font faces and
sizes, and animation. This is where we bring it all together
and make it happen. We take all the defined elements, from
design, code, graphic design and database development until
your project takes shape.
Staging and roll out
Our project team carefully tailors the staging and testing to
fit your web site's goals and objectives. The product is
delivered after final testing. There are no surprises, and no
unrealistic expectations on the date of delivery. Once
launched we move to the maintenance phase. With the site being
live 24/7 we continuously work with interacting users and
update the site to keep it current. This will ensure your
visitors return. |
